Kim Loliya (they/she)

Kim is a supervisor and trauma psychotherapist trained in both African-Centred and Western approaches, including EMDR and Somatic Experiencing offered through an anti-oppressive and justice-based lens. Kim’s practice and supervision are culturally attuned and work at the intersections of identities, for the purpose of individual and collective liberation. Kim has delivered clinical work within services, businesses and community settings and, as Director of Black Psychotherapy, they prioritise widening access to mental health support for those with multiple marginalisations. Alongside leading on day to day operations within the service, Kim teaches pluralistic psychotherapy at the Contemporary Institute for Clinical Sexology and they are a Visiting Lecturer on Master’s and Doctoral programmes in psychology and psychotherapy. Working in partnership with services and institutions, Kim provides decolonial and justice-based training to staff, volunteers and service users, as well as supporting training providers to embed anti-oppressive practice into the curriculum. Outside of Kim’s role, they research Afrofuturism, speculative practices and ecologies of liberation and they have recently released a podcast exploring intergenerational trauma through a politicised lens.

Sylvia Anim (she/her)

Sylvia is a COSRT registered sex and relationships therapist who has immersed herself in the scientific study of human sexuality for over fifteen years. Although she initially pursued studies in counselling and therapeutic approaches, it took the challenges of the pandemic to prompt a career change into psychosexual therapy. In her practice Sylvia supports individuals and couples of all genders, sexualities, and relationship constellations, providing a safe and inclusive space for clients to explore their intimate lives. Sylvia creates a non-judgmental and safe environment for clients to freely express their fears, thoughts, and feelings, enabling them to untangle any external factors that may impact their sexuality and intimacy. Her goal is to provide clients with the necessary support to cultivate the intimate life they desire and deserve, fostering personal growth and fulfilment in their relationships.

Reuben Bell (he/him)

Reuben practices integrative counselling while holding a deep interest for psychodynamic and person-centered approaches that are combined with cultural attunement and decolonial practice. Reuben prioritises building safety and support, so that individuals feel truly seen and heard and he values each person’s unique experiences, recognising them as an essential part of their journey towards healing and self-discovery. Reuben is passionate about working with young adults, as well as individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, and those from deprived or marginalised communities. Through working collaboratively, Reuben aims to support self-awareness, identify challenges, and the movement towards self-actualisation.

Tricia Bernard-Hector (she/her)

Tricia offers a safe, supportive space where you can pause, reflect, and work through what’s weighing on your mind and where nothing is off-limits. As a Black Caribbean-British woman, she knows how valuable it is for you to connect with someone who truly understands your experiences—not just from a professional standpoint, but from a lived perspective. For many of us from ethnic and culturally diverse backgrounds, everyday life can bring unique challenges—whether it’s systemic racism, feeling misunderstood, or battling the weight of expectations. Tricia’s work focuses on building empowerment to find a path forward and she supports adults of all ages with issues such as work-related stress, relationship challenges, childhood trauma, anxiety, grief, and major life transitions. Having worked in the corporate sector for 15 years, Tricia uniquely understands the impact of work on mental health, especially for racialised employees. Outside of her practice, Tricia stays grounded by spending time outdoors and, though she grew up in the Caribbean and she loves the sun, she’s come to appreciate the unpredictable charm of British weather, even the rain!

Vanessa Boachie (she/her)

Vanessa is a qualified Psychological Therapist for individuals who are ready to redefine their lives and live meaningfully. She uses a culturally sensitive approach to work with individuals who are experiencing depression, anxiety, social anxiety, low self-esteem, life transitions, hardships and trauma. Vanessa’s focus is on supporting people to overcome their psychological barriers by exploring the underlying factors that are hindering their peace and by implementing practical strategies and techniques to enhance their quality of life. She helps people to holistically strengthen their relationship with themselves and break the cycle of unhelpful patterns of behaviour. Vanessa believes that people should not be defined by the problems they have experienced and that having a better understanding of themselves is the key to unlocking new beginnings in life.

Patience is a trauma-informed life coach, clinical hypnotherapist, and trainee pluralistic psychotherapist, integrating CBT, person-centred, and psychodynamic approaches into her work. She specialises in helping individuals transform childhood trauma, stress, anxiety, and burnout into clarity, confidence, and self-mastery—turning pain into purpose and power. At the heart of her work, Patience empowers people to build self-love and she guides clients in uncovering hidden blocks, breaking free from self-defeating patterns, and stepping into their most empowered selves. Outside of supporting others, Patience loves travelling (27+ countries and counting!), practicing yoga, and curating self-love rituals.

Ebi Eldridge (she/they)

Ebi is an experienced supervisor who supports trainees and qualified practitioners with a relational, humorous and congruent style. Ebi is committed to co-creating open and safe groups that centre the needs of psychological practitioners from racialised and marginalised communities and where client welfare occurs side by side with counsellor confidence, theoretical understanding and creative use of knowledge. Ebi offers a space where these dynamics meet, are nurtured, challenged and encouraged. As we bear witness to joy and pain of others, we’re also invited to speak truth to power, disrupt, and hold space for those in our communities. Just as one bangle cannot jingle, one hand cannot clap this work requires inclusive and authentic co-creation.

Sia Gbamoi (she/her)

Sia is a a dance artist and movement psychotherapist based in South London. She points to Sierra Leone as her familial home, though growing up in London and travelling the world has shaped beautiful, broad relationships across cultures. Sia’s practice supports the development of a compassionate relationship with the self, through embodied practice as an integral part of therapeutic work. Sessions can include conversation, creative reflections, breathwork, shaking, stretching, and authentically listening into the body with as much or as little guidance as needed. All body types and levels of movement experience are welcome.

Damian Higgins (he/him)

Holding a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and a Diploma for Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector, Damian has worked extensively with the Black and Asian community, LGBTQI+ community, men suffering from anxiety and performing artists and creatives. Damian works from an integrative approach, combining person-centred therapy, solution-focused therapy, and CBT strategies to support the therapeutic process, tailoring these techniques to meet the unique needs of the individual. Damian was a performer in the West End for 10 years as well as being a teacher for 17 years, which has provided a unique understanding of different intersections and lived experiences. Damian’s goal is help clients survive, thrive, and grow, providing a space where they can explore their feelings, develop coping strategies, and find moments of clarity and comfort.

Temisen is a trainee practitioner of mixed English and Nigerian heritage. She works with a person-centred approach, offering a calm, empathic, and non-judgemental space to explore whatever is wanted and needed. Temisen believes that everyone deserves space and time to be valued as well as to process thoughts and emotions. We all have the capacity for growth and healing, and therapy can be a powerful way to connect with our sense of self and begin to move towards anything we would like to change. Temisen has experience supporting clients through trauma (including sexual trauma), stress and grief. She is passionate about working with racialised communities, and brings a sensitivity to the impact of social injustice, power, and culture within the therapeutic space.

Dechaun is a trainee integrative psychotherapist committed to nurturing a non-judgemental space with compassion, intention and cultural sensitivity. With a practice that is grounded in respect for each person’s unique story, shaped by professional training and lived experience, Dechaun welcomes clients wherever they are and brings warmth, presence, and curiosity to the therapeutic relationship. Dechaun works relationally and collaboratively, creating a space where clients can feel seen, validated, and gently supported in exploring what matters most. Through psychodynamic approaches, anti-oppressive practice, explorations of identity and systemic inequalities, Dechaun supports clients to explore their emotional lives, meeting them with heart, openness and integrity. Dechaun welcome clients from all walks of life and is especially attuned to working with care and respect across differences.

Kim is a person-centred therapeutic counsellor who believes that through being truly listened to, seen and supported, we can find our own truths and power within. Kim recognises how counselling training is rooted in white western approaches and dreams of a wider education in service to collective healing and liberation. Kim is a mum, carer and partner who loves the power of community, nature, cycling, dancing, and caring for our planet. Having lived in West London, Brighton and, for the last 25 years, York Kim is now part of a local antiracist collective supporting Global Majority communities and is a coordinator for a mums of colour group. Kim has experience supporting young people who have been affected by domestic abuse and has Filipinx and British heritage.

Charité is a multilingual practitioner who speaks English, French and Kinyarwanda. Along with practicing an integrative approach that is tailored to individual circumstances, Charité believes we are biopsychosocial and spiritual beings who have a whole host of different needs, and that our needs are shaped by our identities such as our age, religion, culture and socioeconomic background. This has influenced Charité's work as an anti-oppressive and culturally sensitive practitioner, offering an honest, respectful, safe and non-judgmental space where it’s possible to reflect on concerns, thoughts, emotions and personal stories. Charité’s specialisms include refugee experiences, bereavement/grief, culture, life transitions, self-esteem and confidence, anxiety, depression, health, work and relationship issues as well as trauma. Outside of work, whenever she can, Charité likes to travel to countries she's never seen before to continue learning about other cultures while also immersing in different types of music and books.

Martina is a child, adolescent and family psychotherapist with extensive experience of working as a secondary school teacher and youth mentor where she has supported young people in various capacities, creating a safe and open therapeutic environment. Martina works mostly through a person-centred approach with elements of psychodynamic, play therapy and CBT. As an experienced facilitator, Martina has led workshops on wellbeing, sex positivity and relationships where she has combined the therapeutic elements of her work with psychoeducation. With a special interest in supporting Black LGBTQ+ communities and young people with SEN, Martina provides an inclusive approach that centres multiple marginalised identities.

Debra has a background in art and design, and over two decades of experience teaching secondary school students. Debra’s journey into psychotherapy has been shaped by a deep commitment to nurturing emotional well-being, not only in young people but also in the parents and communities she has had the privilege to support. As a creative and intuitive person, Debra brings a holistic and compassionate approach to her practice, holding space for clients to feel, be seen, heard, and understood. Debra believes in the healing power of connection, expression, and authenticity — especially within culturally diverse communities, where shared understanding can be a vital part of the therapeutic process. Outside of work, Debra enjoys staying active through badminton, salsa dancing, and gym workouts. As a spiritual person, she practises meditation to stay centred and grounded — something she finds invaluable in both life and therapeutic work.

José’s approach to therapy is integrative, drawing from a range of models which include person-centred and psychodynamic, held within an intersectional approach that ensures clients feel supported as unique individuals with unique lived experiences. José provides an open, confidential and non-judgmental space to feel empowered, seen and heard and where self-trust can be cultivated. José’s aim in working therapeutically is to support reaching inwards in order to face difficult challenges and experiences while building self-awareness and choice around thought patterns and José’s interests lie in helping those with depression, anxiety, trauma and PTSD. José has over twenty-years-experience of working within the cultural sector as a curator, programmer, visual artist and writer, working intuitively in co-curation with groups and individuals to support greater insight and new ways of seeing.

Bianca is compassionate and experienced in supporting individuals through life’s challenges. With over 15 years of experience across the NHS, private healthcare, neurodevelopmental services, and plastic surgery, she brings a rich understanding of the complexity of human experiences. Working in an integrative way, Bianca tailors her approach to each person’s needs. She supports clients experiencing life transitions, work-related stress, burnout, relationship issues, anxiety, social anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and the effects of domestic violence. She also works with body image concerns and the impact of social media pressure on self-esteem, offering a safe, non-judgmental space for reflection and healing. Bianca is experienced in supporting individuals with neurodevelopmental traits, including ADHD and autism. With a multicultural and multi-religious background, Bianca understands the challenges of navigating different cultural identities and supports clients in exploring these dynamics while affirming their authentic sense of self. Outside of therapy, Bianca enjoys running, reading, and long walks with her small dog.

Nazmiye’s practice is rooted in empathy, cultural awareness, and a deep understanding of the complexities of identity, faith, and social justice. She is particularly passionate about supporting women navigating the impact of cultural and societal expectations on their mental health, as well as those experiencing relationship challenges, including anger management and emotional regulation. With a background in Islamic scholarship, Nazmiye also offers a faith-sensitive space for those seeking to integrate their spiritual and psychological well-being. Outside of therapy, Nazmiye works in risk management within the financial sector and she is actively involved in charitable work supporting refugees and victims of natural disasters. Having a commitment to social justice and advocacy in her therapeutic approach, Nazmiye ensures that clients feel seen, heard, and supported in a space that honours their unique experiences.
